Software Engineer

We have a great opportunity for an Software Engineer role.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solution
Development and operation of systems undergoing continuous improvement and release.
Ensure the high availability of operational services and contribute tactical and operational expertise.
Define and implement infrastructure standards and policies, and lead the design and delivery of projects aligning with business requirements
Streamline development and deployment processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient release cycle.
Implement and manage automated CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
Proactively monitor and troubleshoot issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our systems.
Work closely with development and operations teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and interacted with IT staff or vendors in performing complex testing, support, and troubleshooting functions.
Good communication skills (Verbal and written).
Working experience in Agile development methodology is preferable

Skills required for the role

Have a minimum 4 years of IT experience.
Strong proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure.
Proficient in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (eg, Prometheus, ELK stack).
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Broad technical skills should include most of the following: Basic Infrastructure components/architecture (Servers - AIX, Linux and Windows)
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, or related discipline.

Develop and execute software test plans, resolving inconsistencies and issues
Develop and implement robust test automation frameworks, with a focus on Back End testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of our software product
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solution
Developing and executing test plans/scripts, collaborating closely with APP development teamto resolve issues and enhance quality.
Build reusable components and libraries to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.
Conduct and record tests to ensure compliance with software specifications.
Assist the production team and support software releases as necessary.
Plan software development and regression test times and provide feedback.
Support compliance requirements and liaise with third-party test houses.
Provide technical support and training to sales teams on current and new products in the streaming range.

Skills required for the role

Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing.
Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure.
Experience designing and producing automated or manual Tests
Experience of Test Management Tools eg ALM, Testrail etc- Python Scripting and test automation experience desirable.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, or related discipline.
